Нэнси дала новое интервью Рассказывает о личной жизни:
TVG: What’s your real-life dating life like these days?
NLG: I was in a relationship about two years ago for about eight months. I felt smitten, you know, the way you feel when you’re 20. I was fascinated and intoxicated in every way but this wasn’t a person you settle down with. I’ve never been able to reach that healthy balance in a relationship. In other words, I’ve only had honeymoon relationships! The longest relationship I’ve had is three and a half years. And even that was all honeymoon until it was over. It took me a long time to realize that I may not be a particularly good marriage partner. I love the excitement but I don’t think I would like the marriage part. I’m guessing because I don’t know. Yes, there are times I wish it was the opposite because I like the idea of growing old with someone as I’ve only had myself to count on. Sometimes it can be really tiring being on your own, and other times, “wow, look at what I’ve accomplished on my own.” But I understand that this is the life I’ve chosen for myself and I’m fine with that. It’s the right decision for me, but I didn’t realize it in my 20s and 30s which caused me a lot of strife, drama and hurt. Luckily, for the past 20 years, I’ve had an amazing group of women friends. And, of course, I have my daughter. I’m much more grounded not being in a relationship.
TVG: Yeah, me too. I’ve been single for seven years.
NLG: At this point, I’m just not interested. Unless, divine intervention poofs "Mr. Perfect For Me" into my life without any fuss or muss, I will be content to stay single. I’m not a dater.
