ALYSSA DANS LA PARODIE DE "THE WRESTLER"

Cette vidéo s'appele «The Uncler» qui est une parodie du film courant «The Wrestler».
On y voit le fameux « Oncle Sam » essayant de faire un retour à la popularité, tout en essayant de surmonter les problèmes courants qui se posent à l'Amérique.
Pour ceux qui ne savent pas, l' « Oncle Sam » est un personnage créé il y a de nombreuses années par le gouvernement des USA pour motiver les citoyens à lutter pour lui pour le pays.

Résumé du vrai film :

A la fin des années 80, Randy Robinson, dit The Ram ("Le Bélier"), était une star du catch. Vingt ans plus tard, il ne se produit plus que dans des salles de gym de lycées ou des maisons de quartier... Brouillé avec sa fille, il est incapable d'entretenir une relation durable avec quiconque : il ne vit que pour le plaisir du spectacle et l'adoration de ses fans.
Mais lorsqu'il est foudroyé par une crise cardiaque au beau milieu d'un match, son médecin lui ordonne d'abandonner le catch : un autre combat pourrait lui être fatal. Contraint de se ranger, il tente de renouer avec sa fille et, dans le même temps, entame une liaison avec une strip-teaseuse vieillissante. Pourtant, son goût du spectacle et sa passion pour le catch risquent bien de reprendre le dessus et de le propulser de nouveau sur le ring...


Alyssa joue le rôle de Marisa Tomei dans le film «The Wrestler». Son nom dans cette parodie est Lady Liberty.

What is your job? Actress, Producer, designer and most importantly, Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF and the Lead Ambassador for the Global Network.

What social causes are most important to you? Gender equality, education, child protection and survival, global health and animal rights.

What charities do you support and how? I support UNICEF, The Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases, PETA, Best Friends Animal Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Environmental Media Association. I support them by using my voice to empower and educate in whatever way I can.

What countries have you visited as an Ambassador? Is there one encounter that had a strong impact? I have traveled to Angola and India as a UNICEF Ambassador. In Angola, there was one moment that I will never forget. I was walking through an active minefield with The Halo Trust, on the small path that was deemed “safe” and marked by small stakes in the ground. This tiny pathway was just inches away from the area deemed “unsafe” and I could hear children laughing and playing. They were so close by. Imagine if your child’s playground was only yards away from a landmine. No weapon should outlast a war. In Angola there is one landmine for every child. I went to India six months after the tsunami. I toured villages that were devastated by the tsunami. I was so inspired by the utter hope these people had. I realized that the human spirit has the great capacity to prevail.

How would you define social responsibility? We all have a social responsibility to be proactive in the easing of any suffering that affects mankind and our planet.

Do you have any tattoos that relate to you charitable work? I have 8 tattoos and although none of them specifically relate to my philanthropic work they all serve as spiritual reminders of the importance in counting my blessings and recognizing what is important in life.
